Why do I feel bad?
I know I shouldn't feel bad but I do. I was asked by my employer to travel to St Louis next month for a few days and also to New Orleans in November for a few days. I turned both opportunities down stating that I'm still breastfeeding (don't have a stash) unless the nanny and baby travel with me.
Travel is not a part of our industry, these two just happen to be a trade show and conference that they wanted me to attend.
They know I BF but thought they would ask any way. I just feel like I'm disappointing them or something. As if being a mom now impacts may ability to be a stellar employee like they're supposed to.
