Wow! Congrats! And another congrats!
I remember how shocking the "twin" ultrasound was - we couldn't speak for a while after. We were a bit scared and just really surprised, but as time has gone on, we have just gotten more and more excited. I lurk on the Multiples board all the time, and immediately started reading about nutrition for twin pregnancy. I also got a book from the library on having a healthy twin pregnancy. Can't remember the name exactly but that helped a lot... You will be exceptionally hungry and the weight gain /nutritional requirements are different than for a singleton. Start eating!

Thank you... this is great advice!
Welcome to the twins club! I agree with solarflare about a twin pregnancy differing from a singleton. It's fun to chat with your friends (who are also pregnant) but just keep in mind that a lot of things are different when there's more than one in there!
Other than that, I say relax and let it set in for a while (both for you and your fiance). It sounds like you guys have a big year coming up!! Enjoy it and let it soak in. I didn't go running out and buying stuff right away, and it was actually a stress relief for me not having to do so. I only just purchased two of those JJ Cole Bundle things, and it was only because i found them 50% off. If you plan on finding out the gender(s), give yourself that much time just to relax and focus on you and your SO. Then once you find out, it's all hands on deck! The fun and hectic times begin...the registry, planning the nursery, shopping, etc etc. Congratulations again! This advice is only IMO and what has worked for me. Best wishes!!
