Prepping...did I ruin my diapers?

I just prepped all of my "bigger" diapers as my son is almost too big for the newborn diapers. I didn't realize that one of the inserts in the Thirsties Duo Diaper is hemp and prepped it with everything (BG 4.0, FB, etc). Have I ruined all my diapers b/c I prepped them with that 1 hemp insert? What can I do to "fix" this?

it should be fine.  1 insert shouldn't ruin anything (or at least it never has for me)

It should be fine...It's only an issue if your diapers start to repel, even then you can strip them to remove the oils... and they'd be fine...but I doubt one insert with a full load of diapers would make that much difference.

Why is prepping with hemp a no-no? Wondering because this is what I did when prepping my diaper trial!

As I understand it, the oils from natural fibers such as hemp get onto the other non-natural fibers and cause them to repel until those natural fibers are prepped (washed a few times). Therefore, you are supposed to prep natural fibers separately. Anyone please correct me if I'm wrong!

Ah, makes sense. Now I remember I prepped the cotton prefolds separately and the pockets together, but that included a Thirsties hemp blend insert. There were no instructions to prep that insert separately so hopefully it's not a big deal
