Just to tell the end of the story...it wasn't good news. The bleeding stopped last weekend, but as confirmed by a sonogram this morning, that was because the miscarriage had naturally completed itself.
I told a few people while I was waiting for the news, which was somewhat helpful because at that point, it helped my anxiety and nerves a bit to talk about it, and after confirmation today I told the rest of my immediate family. I have mixed feelings about the decision to tell people about the miscarriage.A part of me now wishes I hadn't. I really don't appreciate the advice on what do do/how to handle the m/c or find it at all helpful.
So..for those in my boat trying to decide how much to share, there are good arguments either way, but do consider what you'll have to live with afterwards. If it were to happen again, I think I probably wouldn't tell anyone but my mother and sister.
2 years, 2 surgeries, 2 clomid fails, 2 IUIs, 1 loss, IVF #1 - 10/25/10 = BFP!, DS is now 3.5yrs!
TTC #2 - 6/12 surgery #3, FET #1 & 1.2 = BFN, 12/2012 FET #2 = BFP! DD is 1.5 yrs!
Surprise! 12/16/14 BFP, loss #2 12/31/14
I can't wait for the "im getting a divorce" post in 5 years or so because your husbands were fed up with your disgusting chair asses from playing on the knot all day and getting fired 4-5 times for not doing any work. you guys are all winners!! ~ Laur929
