I realized that a lot of my maternity clothes that I had when I was pregnant with DS are going to (hopefully) be big now. I have done weight watchers since then and lost quite a bit of weight. I remember buying stuff at Destination Maternity and Old Navy, but would love to see where other people are buying their clothes! Suggestions? Thanks!
Re: Where do you get your maternity clothes?
My BFP Chart
I buy Rosie Pope, GAP, A Pea in the Pod, and Old Navy on clearance. I am NOT paying full-price for my basics. I may splurge on a hot cocktail dress from A Pea in the Pod or Rosie Pope for my husband's Christmas party.
ON's maternity clothes tend to run a bit big, BTW, while GAP's run small. Weird, since they are the same company. Motherhood didn't work for me last time (I am a size 2, and their xs maternity pants were HUGE), but I'll give them a run this time. Their styles have definitely gotten less matronly in the last 4 years.
My first pregnancy I bought a few items from Motherhood and JCP. Maternity is overpriced and not worth spending that much money on. Towards my last month I looked at Goodwill and found TONS of wonderful items at the cheap prices. Many were Motherhood, Old Navy, etc barely worn. I gave all my clothing to a pregnant lady I had heard about that was struggling to just make it let alone buying a new wardrobe so now I will be purchasing again.
So Goodwill here I come... also I went to a church consignment sale two weeks ago where ladies had consigned baby/kid items. They had 10 tables of maternity. I purchased a great pair of Motherhood pants (originally 60$ for 6$), three pairs of work pants, and about 6 shirts for 20$. Remember you don't want to be in them forever so don't spend a lot of money on them, then donate them when your done to someone in need. Spending less makes you feel less guilty later about getting rid of them.

This! A pregnant friend told me that our local YMCA has a consignment sale arranged by moms every year, where you can get a steal on lightly used maternity clothes. I want to spend as little as possible, because I only wear them for a few months... and I think most of them are ugly anyway.

If you're open to online shopping, I suggest Asos for reasonably priced clothes and when you want to splurge, I suggest Seraphine. I tried Isabella Oliver over and over again, but their clothes just didn't fit me well, but it's something you might want to try.
These are all companies from England that ship to the US (and returns are either free or cheap- you don't ship all the way back to England).
They have US size equivalents and I've found Asos to be fairly accurate, but does run a little big (maybe by 1 size). Seraphine seemed to be accurate, but I only bought a bathing suit from there. Isabella Oliver was weird- anything in jersey material ran WAY bigger than it said, but if I ordered that size in something not stretchy, my chest wouldn't even come close to fitting into it. (but I did love the quality of Isabella Oliver, bummed it didn't work for me)
I stopped by JCP today and got 2 ribbed tanks ($2 each), 2 short sleeve t-shirts ($4 each) and a pair of full panel maternity jeans ($7). Grand total was $19! Definitely check it out if you have JCP by you. The jeans I bought seem like pretty decent quality and were originally $51.
Also, check out Gap and Old Navy online for maternity. I bought a bunch of stuff today at sale price plus an extra 30% off with the code FALLCALLS.
I have had friends that have had lots of luck at consignment stores, so I may check that out one of these days.
