  • I agree that it sounds like he found her approach threatening, heck it sounds kind of threatening to me.

    I think that his chewy needs to be way more accessible.  I'd put one in his pants pocket and actively work on him taking responsibility for getting to it (if you think he's able to do so of course) and I think the teachers, aids, ect need to have one within easy reach.  They are never going to be successful in using it as a redirection tool if they have to head off to dig it out of his backpack.
