It has been driving me crazy how many people ask if DS is walking yet. He is 10 months old for crying out loud, can you please enjoy this time and not rush it.
What are some things that have been said to you lately that drive you crazy?
I brought DD to a Weight Watchers meeting with me on Saturday and a woman walked up to me and said "Wow, good thing you brought her, she's a big butterball!" Seriously? What the hell is wrong with people?
I honestly get sick of the "You sure have your hands full" comments. It's somewhat true, of course, seeing as my kiddos are 16.5 months apart, but it's getting old.
I get sick of the constant 'she must be cutting teeth'. I've been hearing it since LO was 6 weeks old and now she's 9 and a half months with no signs of teeth.

I think I have the comment that will take the cake here.
I was in Walmart and some creepy hillbilly couple who looked like they were making their annual trip down from the mountains said to me, "You got a little one there. You gonna throw her away? Happens all the time at walmart. People just throwing their kids in the trash and walking away."
I get so tired of hearing "He's so serious". Yes DS just likes to stare at everything that surrounds him. He's a VERY good baby just like his sister. But he just likes to soak up everything that is happening around him. He's getting better at smiling at people who try to talk to him.

That is terrible. This is what is wrong with society today.

WTF?!?! Who says that to someone?
It sounds like they were admitting something to you.

I get this one all the time from the IL's, and I don't know why it drives me so crazy. Have you met a baby before? They like to chew on things, and sometimes they drool.
I get so sick of hearing, "Just wait until she ______" As in, just wait until she's mobile, just wait until she can talk/walk, just wait until she needs to be driven to soccer practice, just wait until she's driving, just wait until she has a boyfriend, just wait until you need to pay for college.
It just implies that I have it so easy now and it will get harder and harder. So annoying.

Yep, my ILs kept saying that... DH finally said to them: "You know, if you keep saying that, eventually you'll be right." Heh.
I get "Oh! She is so small! My cousin just had a baby. . ./My grandson is. . ./When my babies were just born I don't think they were THAT small!"
Great! You guys all have chubby babies and its so cute. Good for you. Yes. My child is skinny, but unless you gave birth to a 28 inch 16 lbs infant there is no reason for you to make me feel like something is wrong with my child. Poor this was 5lb 11 oz when she was born and yes she was a wk late and no there was nothing wrong with her. This gets old and incase you can't tell I get irritated. I should mention that people didn't really even know I was pregnant until I was about 7 month pregnant and at that point peope would sometimes ask me if I was sure everything was ok with my baby because I was so small. Kinda over it!
The worst thing anyone has ever said they said to my DH, not to me, but it is pretty bad, so I'll share anyways: DH took DD for a walk one day and was stopped by a middle aged man who said she was cute, asked how old she is, etc. When DH told him her age he said "Woah! She's huge!" (we get this all the time....I feel like Brainpagan, except opposite, haha). DH just nodded, said "yeah, she's always been a big baby", just tried to make it no big deal, but then the guy looked at DH (who is not a big man) and said "is the wife huge?" DH just said no and walked away, but I was ticked off for quite a while!

This!! I hear this all the time, it drives me crazy!
After 2years TTC and 1yr,2mo waiting for an adoption match, our blessing is here!
"You may not have my eyes or smile, but from that very first moment you had my heart"
Mine is, "So, is she sleeping through the night?". It takes every fiber of my being to not laugh in their face and walk away.
Double annoying points for the people who act like I'm doing something wrong and that its MY fault she is a terrible sleeper.

I'm 24 weeks pregnant and having a difficult time. My girl friends keep complaining about their cramps and they constantly make the comment, "I wish I was pregnant." As if mild period cramps can even compare to the aches and pains of pregnancy; come on ladies!
