I usually lean on the back of the couch, with my feet about 2 1/2' from the back, shoulder width apart. I lean over so my upper body is in line with the floor with my arms golding the couch. Then H stands behind me and rubs the small of my back for a while. It really helps me.

  • Yes, in my left side. I find that sleeping on my right side with a pillow between my legs has helped alleviate the pain because I am not sleeping on my left side and putting more pressure on the nerve.

  • I've had times where I can't walk it hurts so much.  My Dr told me heating pad, massage, and/or tylenol if needed.  I haven't done any of those yet, I've just kind of dealt with it.  I may try the stretches people mentioned though.

  • I had it bad a few weeks ago, now it's not as bad. My doctor told me to stretch every night before I went to bed and that helped. I also stopped wearing heels, which actually made a big difference too.

  • Heating pad and stretching......it isn't full relief but it is some relief at least

  • I had it pretty bad a few weeks back but i've done a couple things to help alleviate it.

    Prenatal Yoga

    Massage

Heating pad If i feel it flaring up

    stretching before going to bed

and sleeping with a pillow between my legs every night.

I've also heard that heating pad works really well, but my body temp seems to always be pretty high when im pregnant so I don't want to add anymore degrees to that.

    Best of luck
