dumb question about forced break cycles

I am on a forced break this cycle since I had 3 cysts (30mm and two 17mms) on CD1. I'm still temping/charting and using opks this cycle just for my own records. 

DH and I can have sex whenever we want, right? Because of the cysts I wouldn't have any eggs so I couldn't get pregnant, right? I guess I just want reassurance that no matter when we have sex this month, there would never be a 2ww so there's no reason to have my hopes up when this cycle drags out forever like my RE has predicted.

Cysts= No eggs= No pregnancy. Right? Or am I misunderstanding the situation?

    Unless you don't ovulate on your own, I'd think there would still be a chance?  I always thought that forced breaks for cysts were because more meds could make the cysts bigger, not because cysts = no eggs, but maybe it depends on the type of cyst.

    I had 3 cysts the cycle I got my BFP (one ovarian, one peritubal, and one subendometrial). They were just under the cut off to still cycle. I ended up with 3 mature follicles. It is possible to ovulate.


    TTC#1 for 19 months with PCOS and MFI IUI#3 + injectables = BFP!!!!  Beta#1-134(13dpiui) Beta #2-392(15dpiui)

    I'm pretty sure you can still ovulate when you have cysts. As someone else said, the break is so that the meds don't make the cysts worst.

    Well, crap. I was kinda looking forward to turning my brain off this cycle. LOL! I surely won't get my hopes up too much though.
