Feeling good. I turn 18 weeks tomorrow. As stated in my post below, we found our LO is going to be a boy!!
Not pregnancy related, but we have DD's 2nd opinion with another cardiologist at CHOP this week. Her appt last week went great, so I'm hoping this doctor says the same thing.
I'm 35 weeks today. Spent this past weekend as a personal attendant for my niece's wedding. Hoping I didn't overdo it... It was exhausting, but I tried to sit down and rest as much as possible. In general I'm really to a point where I dread bending down and walking a lot. Can't wait til the pregnancy is over because of this especially!
Other than that, things are going fine! I start weekly appointments next week. Crazy!!
I'm 36 weeks and have an appointment tomorrow. Last week I was 1 cm and "really soft" (I had to get checked because I was having contractions, they were apparently from dehydration... stinkin' flu!)
Niko has dropped because I can finally breathe again, yay! However, now I feel him constantly on my cervix when walking, and it's super uncomfortable.
In other news, my City Select and Niko's car seat arrived from Amazon today, and it's pretty ridiculous how excited I am over this stroller

All these birth stories are starting to make me cry! I still don't think I've completely wrapped my head around the fact that I'm pregnant again or that we'll soon be a family of 4. I've been feeling a little guilty lately that I don't feel as excited about this pregnancy as I did with DD. I'm just ready to not be pregnant and to feel "normal" again.
36 weeks here! i have my C scheduled for 9/19, pre labs scheduled, so lets see if she waits that long! feeling a lot of pressure down there, headaches and lower back pain, i have a dr's apt at 2:30. nursery is set, just gotta go get some outfits for little miss! i'm "on leave" right now but really working from home until the baby decides to make her entrance.

Going for my glucose test next week. Can't believe I'm almost in the 3rd tri! Still can't decide on a name for LO.
I agree with PP who said they still can't believe they're pregnant and soon going to be a family of four! So surreal. I am trying to enjoy all these last "alone" days with LO before sissy arrives. I am, however, very excited to have another little girl in our family. I am NOT looking forward to having a newborn/recovering. I will admit, I hated it last time (I guess everyone does though). Once the Spring comes, we will be mostly over the sleepless nights and adjustment period, which I am looking forward to. It will be great next summer! Can't wait to take my girls to the beach.
This is going to sound really silly, but every time I mention to someone that we are due in December, I get this sad look of pity. They always say, "Oh, really? That's a hard birthday" or something related. I could care less that her birthday will be in December and actually think she will love it when she's older (who else gets to celebrate all month long with most of the world?). I guess I am just having mommy guilt/anxiety because I want her to be happy with whenever her birthday is.
33 weeks yesterday and still super tired. I have started to get ms after every meal which is totally new for me and so not fun. I have a doctor appointment tonight and I'm hoping that we will nail down the date of the RCS. I'm also ready to be on leave. I'm not sure how ladies do it with little ones at home and working while pregnant. I am so worn out this time around I'm ready to be home til this little guy arrives.
I'm 38.5 weeks and have no big news. Last week the fundal height measured 47cm, so needless to say I am very large and we are expecting another big baby! My cervix is soft and closed and I've been having Braxton Hicks for about a week now. In the past week I have started waking every couple of hours b/c of hip pain so I'm looking forward to that going away. 8 more days and we will have a new baby boy to add to our family - I can't wait!!
I'm 30 weeks now, and I'm with everyone else - it's completely unreal that we'll be adding a fourth member to our family in around 2 months.
3rd tri exhaustion has hit, and I'm back to needing a nap to make it through the day. Thank goodness Ev has been napping like a rock star since we moved so I can sleep when he does. I've been having tons more contractions this time around - enough that my OB did the FFN test last week. It was negative, which is a huge relief, but I'm still trying to take it easy. This baby needs to stay put for at least another 7 weeks! Next appointment is next week.

Hey don't worry once I get my hands on a city select I will be super excited also. It is a wonderful stroller, I got to take Mamabear's for a test run and I am now in love with it more than ever.
Also for myself nothing new to report, I have to find a doctor in CT and should getting that done this week. I still get sick every morning but I was sick the entire time with O so I don't expect it to go away ever.

I am in NO WAY trying to flame you or be negative in any way with what I am about to say but this statement makes it completely obvious you yourself do not a birthday in December.
No one with a December birthday gets to "celebrate all month long with the rest of the world" in fact most people will have their birthdays forgotten about or people more often then not try to lump the December birthday in with all the other holidays. (ie This is your Christmas/birthday gift from people who if it were any other month would not combine them)
Its up to you to make sure your LOs day is special, its not always easy my mom had one heck of a time trying to do it for me and sure I got my heart broken and more than my fair share of parties called off due to no one being able to attend but that is how life is.
Also make it a rule right from the start NO birthday gifts wrapped in Christmas paper. That is my absolute #1 most hated thing about December birthdays.

You guys heard from me last week with that silly OWT with the pee/baking soda that our DD will have a little brother as a late Xmas present. He's healthy and on track developmentally. The only "blip" in the 20 A/S is that my placenta is too close to my cervix right now. OB didn't call it a previa yet - they are going to do another US in 7 weeks to check that as my uterus and placenta grows, that it moves away.
I'm hopeful and optimistic and generally just thrilled to be joining the "one of each" family of four model
Now I'm into procrastinating on work and just thinking about nursery design!

I don't want to say it, but my M/S has been better (knock on wood) and I think I'm starting to look pregnant already, opposed to just chubby. I go tomorrow for our NT scan, so I'm excited to see our little babe again. I tried finding the HB yesterday and it took forever so I had a minor heart attack then, it usually only takes a few seconds, but after I found it, I fet much better. I've finally been able to sleep a little better too, so thank goodness for that. Other than all this, not much to report. Hope you are all doing well.
Glad to hear everyone is doing well. Nothing new to report here, we have a follow up ultrasound on Thursday at 23 weeks. At the A/S they couldn't see all of her face and half of her heart so they are just making sure everything still looks ok.
Hi everyone, it's been a while since I have been on here. I got a new job a few months ago and just now are things calming down.
I will be 37 weeks this Thursday and I have an appt that same day. I have been peeing every 10 min and even at night at least 4 times a night, thankfully this has started last night but I sure hope it goes away soon. Feeling huge and uncomfortable, last DD had a horrible night, it seems she was having night terrors so she was up quite a few times since 230am until she finally fell asleep at 630am...wish me luck, i am beyond exhausted!

Tulip I go to a great practice in New Haven they have 4 offices in the area if you are looking for a place to go!
26 weeks here approaching 3rd tri this Friday! Doing well and still feeling good. Some hip pain at night and sciatica when I sit for too long!
I think this LO is breech and, as I get further along, I'm realizing this is going to most likely be a replay of last time. I have BCU so less likely to turn So probably a RCS. Heres to hoping he turns soon!
I love reading about all the new LOs, even though I'm not posting on here that much anymore. They are so sweet! I feel like its a replay of last June :
