"Still haven't had that baby yet?"

If I had a nickel for every person that asked me and my husband that very question, we could both go out for ice cream. It drives me nuts especially when people like my brother, grandfather, brother-in-law, best friend and other close friends ask. Yes, I definitely gave birth this weekend and nobody called to tell you. So sorry about that.

I think that news would spread fairly quickly if I delivered so you can stop asking now! I've been hoping to go into labor naturally and it's only making it worse when everyone keeps reminding me that I'm not in labor. Also I've had so many comments about what days are convenient for them for me to deliver on. Because I obviously can control when I go into labor.

Um, yeah. I could have written this exact post. And since today was my due date, and baby is not ready to come out, we have heard from everyone! They are counting down on facebook the hours until the end of the day. Ugh, I know! I feel him kicking and no one wants him to be here more than me. Oh! And the days that works best for everyone! Seriously, as if I can control when he comes. If I could, he would have been here today! I guess it does not help that I am emotional on top of it all. I feel you pain. There IS light at the end of this tunnel however :-)

When we were filling out the first pages of our baby book, my daughter wanted to put down "that baby" under nicknames because of the number of times she has heard people ask me this! I'm a week late. It's getting old.

Lol, I think we are all in the same boat. It gets worse once you hit your due date.

Vent away!  I am totally ok with waiting for my boy to decide when he's ready to come, it's all the other people that are making me crazy as they keep reminding me he's not here yet.  And I especially love the "blackout dates"- coming not even from my parents (very important as baby's grandparents), but friends.  I'm pretty sure the only people that need to be available when baby comes is myself and DH.  The others are just a bonus and won't be invited to see the baby until a few hours after the birth anyway.
