Birthday party at the Sandbox in Fairport NY?

Has anyone had or been to a Birthday party at The Sandbox? I have been thinking of having my son's party there, but some of the online reviews aren't the best. Thanks!

I've never been there but would be interested in what others have to say about it. I have awhile before birthday parties, but it's nice to learn more about places in the area.

Hi, so what I was told is that it's a cute place, better in the winter, but cute.  She can't comment on the birthday party as it was just a get together not a party but she likes going there and taking her boys.

I don't live far from the Sandbox.  We have taken my 2 year old twin nieces there and they had a blast.  We even had a good time.  I agree it is more of a winter place, but it really was fun.  I don't know what they do special for birthdays but as a regular play spot, it was well worth it.

This place is a disaster! First thing that bothered me a bit was the petroleum ceiling! Did anyone notice this playground smells of gasoline? We were greeted by a very rude blonde lady who I found out later was the owner. The rules were explained yet there were five kids without socks. The playground is dirty. The food is limited and pricey for what you get. My baby and I did not have a good experience and will NOT be going back. Bounce it out here we come!!!!

I can vouch and say that if you are looking for a clean, fun atmosphere this is not the place.
