Parker Jordan's Birth Story

Short version: I was induced on Monday, August 20, for low PAPP-A and high HCG, and had a successful VBAC. I was 3 cm and 80% when I arrived at the hospital, progressed very quickly with Pitocin, and my sweet baby boy was out after just 10 hours of active labor and 15 minutes of pushing. I was hoping to avoid pain medication, but got the epi at 6-7 cm. Parker Jordan was born at 2:04 pm, weighing in at 7 pounds 7 ounces, and 19 3/4 inches long. We expected another red head, but he surprised us all with a head full of dark brown hair; and he has big sister's chubby cheeks that we've been kissing non-stop.
