Chicco annoyance

I saw the Chicco travel system in Zest the other day, so I've been looking around just for the carseat. Chicco doesn't sale the seat by its self in that fabric. Why do companies do that? Are they trying to piss people off?

Graco did something like that with their Pippin print. It was never in a travel system, and then when I went to order the stroller after I already had the car seat, they had stopped making it in the single and now only make the double. I was so upset!
