We live about 10 minutes away from the hospital I will be delivering at. Living in Columbus though there's a hospital about 10-15 minutes away in every direction
It's about 15 minutes from my home, 45 minutes (or more, depending on the lovely DC traffic) from work. But I plan to telework full-time starting around mid-December, so hopefully I won't find myself in the city when it's time to go to the hospital.

Eek! I had DS at the same hospital in the middle of winter and was also concerned abotu the drive, but we live in a small town and the closest hospital is about 20 minutes away, but the one I go to has the midwife I love. It just scares me a bit since DS came SO fast.... I am all for home birth IF IT IS PLANNED AND WE ARE PREPARED! haha!
The hosptial in our town no longer handles maternity. There is a new hosptial opening nearby in September, but I'm not comfortable switching to a brand new hospital this far along.
20 mins from home. 4 floors up from work. With my first I was artwork when labor started but I was dilated enough to stay so I went home until the next morning.
It was 15 minutes for DS and this time it is more like 20-25 depending on traffic. I have already told myself this baby will be born in a blizzard and will probably end up being born at home. Just my luck.

About 5-10min from home and about 30 min from work, but the hospital is on the way to work. We wanted one closer to the house because I work fairly far from DH and the highway you have to go on to get to where I work from his work is always awful. I also would like to telework when I get close to our due date.
About 45 min from my house. About a half hour from work. There are closer hospitals. But my MIL works at this hosp and they are one of the best in the area
I don't work but my home is about 45 minutes in good traffic and 1 hour and 15 in bad. My husband's work is about 5 minutes from it. I hope when I go into labor he is home though. I'm really scared about driving myself 45 to 1 hour and 15 minutes in labor.
I work from my home office and home is about 25 miles from my hospital. Straight shot on the freeway, so we can be there in 20 minutes. There's never any stop & go traffic on this freeway, unless there is a crash. Let's hope that doesn't happen the day LO decides to arrive!
From home - 13-18 KM. 13 KM if we take the route with more lights and 18KM if we hop on the highway. (that is 8-11 miles...I had to google that too lol)
From work - 15 KM all highway (9 miles)
I always say it takes 20 min to get anywhere in this city.
Although Rush hour Traffic is the WORST, so I'm hopping I don't go into labour between the hours of 3:30pm - 6pm on a weekday, cause I won't be going anywhere lol.

20 min from work, about 35-40 from home. It is a little (marginally) further than some of the other hospitals, but getting there largely avoids traffic (Hartford hospitals while closer would theoretically take longer with traffic). We went to the hospital for my son during rush hour/school bus time etc and had no problems.
ETA: we are probably due for a bad winter (last year was really mild) but generally they are really good at clearing the roads etc here. The only time in recent memory that I think it would have been a real problem getting to the hospital was during the October blizzard last year, the entire state was out of power and all the roads were impassible. But that particular situation would not have happened in Jan or Feb (leaves still on the trees was a big contributor). It would have to be a REALLY really bad storm for me to not be able to get to the hospital up here.
I live about 14 miles/25 minutes from the hospital where I'll be delivering and work about 2 miles/4 minutes from it. I work for the same university whose hospital I'll be using.

It takes about 45 minutes to get to the hospital from our house during regular traffic, so maybe an extra 20 minutes during rush hour. I don't work. My OB also delivers out of a different branch of the same hospital that is closer to us but it doesn't have a neonatal unit, so we chose to drive farther to deliver at the other hospital for peace of mind when my son was born and we'll be doing the same this time too.
I am a SAHM so it is about 15-20mins for me. But being in WNY....snow can be a serious issue sometimes. Eeek....I admit I am a bit concerned about that! My brother and sister in law are EMT's here in town and they have already told me they REFUSE to deliver the baby if I call the ambulance to take me. LOL

40 minute drive from home. I guess more like an hour from work since I work about 15 minutes in the other direction from my house.
I was induced at 37 weeks with my first. and likely headed into a scheduled c/s with this one... so I will never get that "oh my god I need to rush to the hosptial!!" kinda feeling.

I'm unemployed, so our hospital is 10-15 minutes from my home. For DH to come from work though it would be about 45-90 min depending on traffic and time of day because he works on the opposite side of the city.

It is about a 20 minute drive in good weather/traffic. In the winter unfortunately it can be a terrible drive due to lake effect snow.
ETA: We have a hospital about a mile from my house but I am not comfortable delivering there, so I specifically chose an OB in the city North of us.

Work --- anywhere from 30-45 mins (only 15 miles but there can be bad traffic); or an hour on the train (how i usually commute)
