Were your parents born in a hospital?

I think this is interesting, care to indulge me?
My mom thinks she was the first sibling born in a hospital, but she's not sure. She's the 6th of 7 kids.
My dad was.
My DHs mom was and was almost switched at birth! A nurse actually had to run to the parking lot and get her from the wrong family.
My DHs dad was born at home in Italy.

I was almost born at home but the blizzard subsided enough the day before.

Yes- both of my parents were born in hospitals.

Yes, they were. 1949 in Boston for both of them. I was born during blizzard of 78. My parents made it to the hospital, but the were stranded there for extra days.

ETA: both are the oldest kids, and born in '49 and '50 in ohio and ct. 

My siblings and I were all hospital births as well - though my mom briefly considered a (planned) home birth for my sister. Instead she was born in a syracuse blizzard on cmas eve at the hospital

Both were born in the hospital.  My Mom in 1956 and my Dad in 1952.  My Dad is the youngest of 6 and was my grandparents only child to be born in the hospital.

Yes, both of them were. I believe all of their siblings were as well.

My dad (#1 of 11, yes I said 11!) was born at home in 1940 in rural SE Iowa and my Mom (#3 of 6) was born in a hospital in 1944 in a smaller city in SE Iowa. And I was born in a hospital, during a bad snow storm (#6 of 6).

Yes they both were and so were my husband's parents.  In fact all but my MIL were born in the same hospital as my husband and I and where we will be delivering this LO.

I don't know. They were both born in 1962. So my guess would be yes. My dad is the oldest of 4. My mom the youngest of 7. I'm going to text them now and ask.

Yes my Mom was born in a hospital in Scotland and my Dad was born in one in Canada.

ETA: I was told that back then fathers didn't go in the delivery room so my Grandpa was at a bar down the street and came back to see the baby later.

My parents are from Europe. They were both born at home. I was born in the US in a hospital (same hospital DD was born in).

My mom was, although I know some of her older siblings were born at home. I guess I've never asked my dad.

Both my sister and I were born in hospitals -- apparently very crappy military hospitals.

Both of my parents were born in a hospital, as were my IL's.  DH and I were also born in a hospital.

My Dad was born in a hospital I'm pretty sure, but my Mom was born at her parents' home. Her Dad was the head doctor at their small town's hospital. 

I have no idea about ILs but I'm gonna assume they were born at the hospital.

I was actually born at home, i'm #5 of 6 kids and we were all born at home. I come from the netherlands, and it was quite normal. My mom even had a nurse stay with her 1-2 weeks after birth to help with cooking, cleaning, laundry everything. Doesn't that sound amazing?! In the back of my mind I still think about having my baby at home. Just to be in my own bed with my own surroundings would make me that much more comfortable.

Yep - both were born in a hospital, which incidentally is the same hospital my brother and I were born in and the same one my child will be born in!

Yes, both of my parents were born in a hospital... even my Dad who was born in 1938   I'll be delivering in the same hospital where I was born with the same OB practice.

Its funny how in the 40's and around that time people had so many children, my mom is from 12 and my dad was from 5. Now, i think the average is 2 children. I definitely want more that 2.
