Cluster Feeding Ahoy

Joy of joys. It's that time again! He's in the midst of his second growth spurt they say somewhere in days 6 10 and just chowed for an hour on one side then got frustrated did the well run dry? so he took 10 min on the other. With an hour break he's back at it again.
Don't get me wrong, I enjoy breast feeding providing for him in that way, but this is going to be a marathon of a night.
Who else is up?

Me! He just got done a little while ago. I just finished cleaning my house up and now relaxing and catching up on here before I finally get some sleep.

I'm up. LO isn't cluster feeding but she won't sleep unless I'm holding her. And when I'm holding her I can't sleep. No bueno.

Oliver had a feeding frenzy all morning! Must be working though...he has gained 3 lbs from his birth weight so I don't mind!

I was up from 2am until 6. She would feed on one side for 15 minutes, pass out for 5 minutes and then get up for the same on the other side. By 5am I ended up giving her 2 ounces of formula because we supplement. Then she still did another 15 minutes of breastfeeding after that! Finally by 6am she fell asleep until almost 8am. Sooo tired.

My LO has his last daytime feeding around 8:30 or 9 then he sleeps for 2 to 3 hours and our nightime feedings begin. Last night we were up from 11 to 3am cluster feeding almost every 30 min to an hour. He did this on day 3 at the hospital but it lasted until 6am so I am glad he finally fell asleep.

How am I on the bump right now and not sleeping...idk!
