I just wanted to say that I had my very first midwife appointment today! My boyfriend and I went together. I am 20w 1d. Long story but there was an issue with my obgyn blah blah blah, never answered the phone or retured calls. It sucked. But then I got my midwives!! We went to the appt today and heard the heart beat for the first time and it was the most amazing sound I have ever heard!! The heart beat was 120 and I apparently have a very active baby! We even heard the kicks and punches! It was so cool! And I haven't had an u/s yet so the called and scheduled me for one on Friday!!! So amazing! In two days I get to see my baby for the very first time ever!! (besides when I went to the hospital at 7 weeks cause I was scared, turned outto be nothing) I'm just so excited, I thought I would share! Hope every one is doing great!!
