Getting a virus this late in the game...

Kind of sucks.
Puking my brains out all morning, luckily I had a midwife appt. I was so weak she sent me to the hospital for fluids. They did a cervical check there, I wanted to deny it but I was so damned exhausted I didn't care; they also did a NST. All labs and NST are just fine. Told me to rest and drink fluids for the next 24 hours, and that I probably have a virus/ bug going around.
And my cervix is pretty much sealed shut. Although I was 60 effaced.

So sorry you're not feeling well! Talk about stinky timing!
I too got really sick at the end, but it was just a cold, and it felt like I was going to cough baby out. I was even coughing everytime they told me to take a deep breath and push... but that's how I eventually leaned how to push. I started using the muscles I coughed with to push, and out popped baby lol.
So the muscles you use when puking, use those when you have to push that baby out. =]
