to prove to dad that I am not a fool....
Anyway. I go back tomorrow. Kids come in on Monday. I worked in my room for a few hours yesterday, but I didn't get what I wanted to done because my room is a disaster. They haven't cleaned it yet. So I didn't want to go digging everything out to put on top of dirty surfaces. I HOPE it is cleaned tomorrow. I did some reading today, but by Tuesday (Monday will be first day organizational stuff), I need to brush up on my Anglo Saxon history, reread Beowulf (it's been about 14 years since I've read it), read two short stories, and get my lesson plans done for the next three weeks. And I have to switch to a new format for that which is a PITA and a complete waste of time.
Is it March yet?
Re: Back to school
...I got my lunch packed up, my shoes tied tight, I hope I don't get in a fight...
I hope that this week goes smoothly for you and you're able to get ready for the kids Monday.
Were you able to get Zofran? I've been thinking of you and hoping it's working well for ya.
I did, but it did squat. It's weird though, I woke yesterday feeling good, which caused me to panic. I had an OB appt, and when she walked in, I said, "I feel too good. I am afraid something is wrong." But 2.0 was happily wiggling away in there with a good heartbeat. She offered to double my dose, but I told her I'd call if I wanted that. I felt pretty good today too, but TMI, I've had some pooper issues. So we'll see what the next few days hold. Thanks for thinking of me!
Aw, I'm sorry to hear it didn't work. I started at 4mg but ended up on 8mg. I completely forgot to mention that Zofran will plug you up. (TMI right back at ya!)I think it's the reason I got hemorrhoids during pregnancy.
I am glad to hear you're feeling better and that 2.0 is healthy. Hope you continue to feel good, especially with school starting.
You are a rock star... Mother of one, pregnant, teaching a heavy course load, and you have to read a bazillion things...how do you do it?
I so get your frustrations at getting into a room that looks like a hurricane struck;) I went in on Monday. Have worked three full days in my room and it is finally starting to resemble a classroom. The supply that took over last year didn't clean a darn thing when she left so everything is a mess!! So frustrating...especially with three LOs under my feet;) Good luck with all that reading. I teach kindergarten so I don't have the reading but definitely will have daily mess to attend to. As for the pregnancy, hoping you feel better soon. I know too well what teaching and extreme nausea can do...take lots of time to rest between periods and drink lots of water. I also found drinking Ginger tea helped a lot when I was feeling my worst...the mornings i would actually throw up.
