So I am officially back to work after having the summer off. I flew out to Chicago all last week for a conference and training and WOW my feet hurt. I have been wearing flats, but they are not supporting my heels at all. For those that are on their feet a lot and have to dress business casual what types of shoes are you wearing?

Re: Work Shoe Recommendations?
I was wearing wedges too, but my balance is so off lately I've been tripping. I have decided I can't wear them anymore :-( so upsetting.
I need to start wearing flats, which is so contrary to what I am used to, I hate it and can't find any comfy ones either. They always give me blisters. I miss my heals!!!!
Can you wear sparkly Toms? (My guess is that they are fine for a casual friday, but not ideal for everyday)
I would suggest wedges or ballet flats, you can also put in an insert to make the flats more supportive. Luckily, fall is almost here and then you can wear boots!

I have always lived in high heels either Steve Madden or Enzo Angiolini are my go to brands. Most people don't find those as comfortable as I do though.
A lot of people like Dansko's for comfortable shoes that they can wear to work. They really do seem comfortable, but even when I was working 12-15 hour days in corporate sales, I LOVED my high heels.

Dear Baby Pacheco...
haha I totally tried to pull off glitter Toms this week. I have the pink and black glitter ones. I thought they looked fine but I did think they were a little too borderline. I usually wear high heels or wedges, but I am getting to the point where I don't feel safe wearing them. I can not wait till I can wear my Frye Boots! I can def dress those up.
I heard they made some cute flats. I will have to look in to those! Thanks
like my flats but I am not accustomed to wearing truly flat shoesall of my other shoes have at least 1" inch of lift.
I second these- I have a nice pair of silver croc flats. Lately I've only been comfortable in my birkenstock sandals (I'm off for the summer) and I think I'll be living in my clogs in the fall. Screw the fashion police, comfort comes first when you are pregnant and suddenly have plantar fasciaitis...
Frye Boots, swoon. I love when fall comes around and I can bust out the Fryes.
