Hi ladies! I will soon need to offer lo one bottle of formula a day due to my supply. To prepare, I have tried straight formula, half and half, 90/10 with DH feeding her... nothing worked. She refused them all. We have tried Similac, Sim advanced, enfamil, and liquid enfamil. The nurse at the pediatrician said that she would get hungry enough and take it, but I caved at 7 hours. Any ideas of what to do next? Tia!

Re: BF baby refusing formula
can you feed her a little by syringe? just make a 1oz bottle with a few drops of formula and mostly BM (so you're not wasting any BM)? do you make your own purees? can you add a little there to get her used to the taste? (i've tried purees w/ both BM and FF and they have a bit of a different taste)?
does your H usually feed her her bottles? i'm trying to think of other things...
She is usually only fed bottles at daycare. DH helps feed her if we are doing a bottle for whatever reason. I could try to feed her by syringe, but am sure she would catch on very quickly.
I don't make my own purees anymore, but I can try to mix it with her food. That is a great idea. She has never refused her food, thats for sure!
I have tried the sippy cup route as well with no luck. They tried to feed her a bottle of formula today at daycare, and she refused that until they replaced it with the BM bottle. I am really at a loss of what to try next.
