Just Simply Baby - Customer Service Problems?

I was just wondering if anyone else has had a bad experience with Just Simply Baby customer service? I will try and keep this short, but this is what happened:

I put in an order for 20 JSB baby diapers on late Sunday night. My order was just under $300. On Monday morning, I went back to their site to order some Rockin' laundry soap because after the research that I did, I figured I should just start with good soap. When I went onto their site, they were having a 2 day sale of Buy 5 Diapers, Get 1 Free. I was so bummed because I JUST put my order in a few hours earlier.

I contacted them immediately and asked if they would be willing to honor the promotion because I had JUST put my order in before they started the sale, and my order still had not been shipped. 

I got an email back saying that she would not do that because my order had already been shipped. (Though according to my account, my order had not been shipped.) I wrote back and asked if she would send me the 4 free diapers if I paid the shipping on them. 

I got another email back saying that she would "not honor it because it's an expired coupon." ...however, the promotion was STILL going on.

At this point, I was regretting spending almost $300 into this company. Honestly, I know that she didn't have to honor the promotion since I had purchased them right before, but I feel like a good company would make some sort of effort to keep a good customer happy. I feel like I spent a substantial amount of money, and it wouldn't have taken much on her end to ensure that she appreciated my business, and understood my disappointment. I emailed her one last time and asked for the instructions on how to return my order once I received them in the mail. I told her how disappointed I was in the customer service that I had received and how I feel like it could have easily been resolved had she done something as simple as saying "So sorry that we couldn't honor the promotion, but here is a 10% coupon for your next order with us!" or something along those lines.

She wrote back and gave me a 10% coupon code.

This morning, I woke up to an email that said that I still had things in my cart on their website and if I still wanted to use my coupon (that expires on 9/28) Here is the email that I got this morning:

"Would you like the 10% coupon to be eliminated? Also if you wish, we can remove you so do not have to be updated of any sales or events via email.
Just let us know!

I feel like this is so snarky. Almost as if she is speaking to a child! "Would you like the 10% coupon to be eliminated?"

I'm just so disappointed that I gave my business to her. Luckily I do have the ability to return everything, and I'm pretty sure that is what I will do.. but I just wanted to share my experience with Katie at Just Simply Baby!
