I had my A/S today and found out we are Team PINK! So excited for DD to have a little sister.
The tech told us that they think she has a cleft palate. My OB came in and told me they want me to come back for the Dr to do the scan and see if its just a bad angle or maybe just early development (18w5d) to tell. I'm praying that it was just bad viewing and that our baby girl will be just fine. Did anyone else get this kind of news at their early A/S? Keep us in your prayers! Thanks!
Re: Anyone else? A/S news/prayers
T&P's your way.
Hopefully it is nothing but if it is that it is easily repairable.
T's and p's coming to you and your baby!
One of my good friends was born with a cleft palate - it was fixed easily after she was born - and she has no signs of it today - you'd never know. She is a beautiful, healthy woman.
3 IUIs to get BFP w/baby #2
Lost baby #2 at nearly 12 weeks (D&C on 9/19/14)
Hoping everything is fine!
They weren't able to see her palate at my A/S, so they'll check when we go for the fetal echo next week. So this is definitely on my mind.
Again, hoping everything is fine or easily corrected later. Keep us updated.
And yay TEAM PINK!!

Praying everything is okay!
Congrats on your girl!
I've seen a few people get news that leads to more testing but it doesn't seem like any of us have the same concern! We're headed back for another u/s to check a calcium deposit on our girl's heart.
Good luck!
