I think that is silly.... however, with DS, I carried a lot lower than I am now with this LO who we found out last week is a girl.... so maybe its not THAT silly!

Well, I thought I was carrying low for DD, but after comparing pics, I was higher then I am now...

I did carry really low with DS. This time I am carrying much higher and DH is convinced we are having a girl. I guess we will see in Jan if this OWT is correct in my case.
Are you going to find out with this one? I am interested to see if he OWT is correct for both of us!
The U/S tech wrote it down for us. It is in a sealed envelope somewhere in the house. (DH hid it from me), we are still undecided. We may do a gender reveal BBQ for family and find out all together.
It is really DH's call on this one. I really wanted to know with DD and he did not, but we did anyway, so I told him this time he can make the call.

i carried exactly the same w/ my first and second pregnancy (and so far with this one). I always carried high and looked like i had a beach ball under my shirt lol. And i had a daughter and then a son...so for me there was no "tell tale" signs in carrying. The only thing was my pregnancy symptoms were night and day...i felt great ALL the time w/ my DD, i worked right up until i had her, never puked, never got the nausea or anything. And then get every symptom in the book when i was pregnant with my son. This made me and DH think he was deff a boy just because my pregnancy's were sooo different symptom wise. So if im going by my past pregnancies, Im thinking this one will be a boy (but DH is convinced it is a lil princess). We will see in Dec or Jan!! Are you feeling one way or the other??

I really don't know. I keep thinking it is another girl, but I I also MAY have seen a wee wee at the U/S. Although truth but told i have no idea what we were looking at at the time, she could have been looking at the brain or something lol.
I will def. be happy either way. A boy would be awesome to have one of each, as we think we are only going to have 2. But another girl would be great as well.

I thought carrying high was supposed to (emphasis on the "supposed to") mean boy, so I am confused by what this woman even said. Someone told me I must be havng a boy b/c I am carrying high. I actually am, but I have also had plenty of OWT say "girl." I'd tell this woman she has a 50% chance of being right!
she could have been looking at the brain or something lol.
AHAHAHAHAHAHAHA that totally just made me laugh out loud! hilarious!!! I too had a moment at ours (and in one of our pics) that im like "oh its a boy" but honestly i dont know, and i dont care, like you said... if this baby gets out healthy...everything else is an added bonus!
I also thought carrying high means a boy per the OWT...
I carried insanely high with my son. Like, ridiculously high. I am definitely carrying lower this time (though still kinda highish - Im short waisted...). I think that is probably because Im a STM though and things are just settling differently.
She tells me I'm carrying low and that's how she can tell.
It's funny how many people actually subscribe to this line of thinking. When I told my mom it was a boy she was in SHOCK because I was carrying totally different from someone else who was having a boy. Uh, mom, everybody carries differently.
