I woke up LO because he was explosively farting (he's been doing this since yesterday...it's not a little "toot," my SO could hear it in the basement) and I figured he had pooped. Well I didn't want to let him sit in it for the next hour until he eats next, so I woke him up to change him.

That's what I get. Never wake a sleeping baby.  Bah-hum-bug.
