Am I the only one that hasn't told anyone?

DH is getting a little crazy now because he really wants to tell everyone we are expecting #3. I just have been so all over the place with my emotions about it that I just haven't wanted to make an announcement. We told our close friend couple, but that's been it. I see my family regularly so I know I will have to tell them eventually. I guess I'm just not ready for the excitement and 10000 questions that come along with telling people. Am I being crazy here? Anyone else wait so long to tell anyone?

We told everyone we see on a regular basis plus all our extended family. But we won't ever go public on FB or anything. 

I totally get why you don't want to share, people can be pretty rude with questions about pregnancy. But I bet people are a lot better behaved than you think! When it's your 3rd, I think people realize you know what you're doing by now and will curb the opinions/advice. GL sharing the news!!

We told, but after we did I wish we waited. This is #3 for us too and DD just turned one so they will barely be 18m apart. I didnt want to hear the comments, already, I cant believe since I still have a baby. And it just feels different than the other two.

We weren't going to post on Facebook ever. Then we had the a/s and I linked my blog because people were starting to ask my sister if I was expecting so we figured it was just easier to tell people.... then my doctor called me 30 minutes later to tell me they saw a calcium deposit on her heart. 

Friends & family had known from the beginning but I wish I'd avoided Facebook.

Not sure why my reply is missing!!! A quick retype....it seems to be a common thing for people to make stupid comments about a third, like "was it planned?". It seems to be expected for you to have one or two kids, but as soon as you are pregnant with your third , people think they are unplanned/unwanted. BTW, we were ttc for a few months before deciding we we're good with our 2 we had. I made an appointment time have my IUD placed again and we were trying to NOT get pregnant and I guess it dident work, lol! I am still trlying to rekindle those feelings I had when I was so excited trying to get pregnant with a third. I guess Im not ready for the excitement of everyone else when I'm not there yet I'm not mad/upset/disappointed though.

With all of our IF struggles, only my 2 BFFs knew when I got pregnant. We waited until after the a/s to tell everyone else including family and work colleagues.

By 18 weeks, there would have been NO WAY for me to hide it.  As it was, I was very obviously showing by 11 weeks, by 18 I looked the same as I did at 21/22 weeks with DS!

I am amazed that you have been able to keep quiet so long.  Do whatever you feel is right for you, but honestly at this point you might as well start telling.

You aren't showing in your 2nd trimester? Impressive. Our thoughts were that we weren't going to not tell people if something did show on the scans so we told people at the traditional 3 mos mark. If something were to end up going awry, we want love and support.

We've only told family and close friends. I wish I'd waited a little longer- a lot of the questions and "advice" has been getting to me. At this point though, not mentioning it wouldn't have been an option- my belly is starting to give it away. However, no Facebook announcements here! I'm not sure if I will after the A/S or not. Sounds weird, but I don't want to jinx anything!

We've told our families and some relatives and close friends. But since we live overseas and have chosen not to announce on FB at and haven't decided about putting it on our blog very few people really know. We go back to work in a week both teacher at the same school. So lots of people will know soon enough. Part of our not telling is we had a mc earlier this year and we're still worried about something happening to this lo.

I was already busting out of my clothes, and it was all I could do to keep it a secret until 12 weeks.  I have a pretty sizeable baby bump these days, so there's no secret here!

There are still people in my office that don't know.  I just look fatter, Maybe they suspect it but I'm curious how long it will take for me to show and it be obvious. LOL 

I just came out on FB this week.  I did it for long distance friends and family. I don't want to start posting baby pics in January and everyone is like Wtf?

We told immediate family around 14 weeks.... extended family around 18 weeks and no one else until 19-20 weeks. No hurry- do it when you are comfortable!
