Had a check up today. Doc said I have a "cervix of steel" and there is no progress whatsoever. Was going to do induction at end of the week, but the hospital is all booked up, so we go in at 3pm tomorrow to start the process!! Should have a baby Wednesday!! Wahooo!!

I was really hoping baby would come on his own, but at this point, I just want him to come out and be healthy. With his size (esitmated large) and being overdue, I'd rather have him out sooner than later.

I'm ready to meet this baby!!!!

Good luck with everything! I've always had a bladder of steel, which has finally come in handy during this whole pregnancy, I wonder if that applies to my cervix too. I am in a situation very much like yourself, we get our induction date today. I hope our hospital isn't booked up, there seems to be a baby boom in this area!

Good luck!! I will probably begin the induction process Wednesday night. I have been stuck between 1 and 2 cm for a couple weeks now with no change and Ill b 41 weeks on Thursday. Im nervous about being induced but on the other hand Im so tired and so uncomfortable Im ready to get the show on the road and meet our little guy.

Thanks ladies! So ready to finally meet this little boy!! I can't believe he'll be 6 days overdue! I was sure he'd be early. Either way, glad to finally know he'll be here so soon. Eeeeeek!!!
