to share or not to share

DH and I announced our pregnancy and suddenly the barrage of questions has started... But we are not only wondering about keeping the sex a secret until after the baby shower... or also whether or not we should share the names that we like before baby is here... but EVERYONE IS ASKING US!!!!

We've told people the 3 names we've narrowed it down to but not the one we're leaning towards.

I say share, but obviously realize its an individual opinion.

 I was contemplating not sharing our names, but I had a dream that my cousin got pregnant and told everyone "If its a girl, we are naming her *enter our names list here*"

With so many babies popping up in my family, that is a good possibility.  So i just decided to come out and say a few names we were considering when people ask.  I don't want to look like I stole a name from someone!  HAHA!

I only shared our top three with a few close family members. Once we decided the name we let most of my family know. I would be happy if they liked it but if not then TS it's not their decision.

I just keep telling people we're totally stumped....which is a half truth (we're stumped on a boy name but pretty set for a girl).  Last time around, we shared and I got some really really nasty responses from some close friends.  It really pi$$ed me off at the time.  One of them even kept of the teasing after my DS was born!!!  And my kid's name is Mason Samuel- it's not like I named him something crazy!
