Hi, I'm a carrier addict lol

Hi all! I'm an AP momma on baby 2. He's 1 month old and I wanted to "be prepared" with my carriers before he arrived. Well, I've realized I have 2 ring slings, a KTan, 2 kinder packs infant and standard and a baby hawk MT. AND I just caught myself browsing the KP website. Eeeek!

So far DS2 only likes the maya wrap RS and the BH Mei Tai. This makes me sad bc I bought a KP infant adjustable with SV bc I knew he would be a summer baby in FL. Le sigh.

  • You're fine! We have one DD and have 2RS 2 woven size 5 and 7, two MT one is too small but I couldn't sell it a standard kinderpack and an Ergo. I have a small stash compared to some ladies on the baby wearer!

  • I'd show you my stash to make you feel better...but y'all would think I'm crazy ;)

I think you'll get more use out of the KPs in a few more months.  They are just so big that I think even with the adjustable base, they swallow a newborn.  "Infant" is really more like 4+ I think.  In fact, you likely be just fine using that size next summer unless your kiddo turns out to be a beast!

The babyhawk was my first carrier - and still one of my newborn favorites outside of wrapping :)

  • I'm right there with you.  With DD1, I had a (badly made) ring sling, a Babyhawk, and two woven wraps.  Now, with DD2, I have my ring sling, (which I remade), the same Babyhawk and woven wraps, two stretchy wraps, a pocket sling, and four more woven wraps. And I want more!

But you have your website, so all your carriers are justified. Almost a business expense lol

  • I won't admit how many wraps I have, especially since DS3 deleted my list on my phone. Embarrassed
