Who pumped 3 oz this morning in one sitting, AFTER nursing my baby boy?!  This girl did!    I'm so excited my supply is going up!  The most I ever did with my first DS was 6 oz in ONE DAY!  The milk is flowing!

Woo-hoo!

This is going to sound insane, but I've been using a double electric pump and getting about 2oz per breast each pumping session (every 2.5 hours). I went to the LC yesterday and she gave me a Medela hand pump, just in case, because there were some storms predicted to come, and I pumped myself once with that and got 8 oz all together!!! I'm producing a lot though, probably overproducing really - we always have four bottles full at 2.5oz waiting for LO. Anyways, the hand pump gets a lot more out...and although it's more work, whatever works! Try it!

I think 2 oz per breast is about where I'm at.  But LO had just nursed one.  But 8 ozs?!  Dang!  You go girl with your super milk producing boobs, lol!

my dh always laughed/scoffed at the phrase "liquid gold" but it really, truly is and every ounce is an accomplishment and something to be proud of!! Good job mama!!

Way to go! I'm a little jealous. I can't seem to keep up my supply for DD's needs. I'm exclusively pumping and only getting about 2 oz from both breasts every 3hrs. I wish I could produce more! I've been trying different ways to produce more like a little beer and eating oatmeal:)

DH spilled half of a bottle last night and I cried. It takes me so long to make so little!

I've been nursing more than pumping.  I know that babies effectively pull more milk than a pump does.  So I'm trying to build up my supply that way for a few weeks and then I'll start pumping a few weeks before going back to work to build my stash.  When I feel engorged or Dh wants to feed LO I pump.  

Also some advice to build your supply, after nursing pump for another 10-15 minutes.  Supply and demand!  You demand, they'll supply, lol..
