with Sandra Boynton's "Moo, Baa, LaLaLa."  it's all dd2 wants to read.  and she wants to read it over and over and over. 

i'm pleased my little reader has at least picked a fun book.

He's not really reading anything...more like chewing them, throwing them and playing peek a boo with them. But at least he likes them, thats a start!

My DD is obsessed with books in general. All. day. long. she is handing me books wanting me to read them to her, or she is sitting down flipping through them. She hardly touches her toys anymore she goes straight to the bookshelf!

We read I Love You Through and Through, Charlie Brown Christmas, and Itsy Bitsy Spider at least 5x each per day. And then a myriad of others. She is OBSSESSED with books lately. Even at school the teachers said all she does all day is pull out books and beg to get in their laps.

Same here!  I've noticed that she has favorite pages of some books- like in Big Red Barn she sometimes flips through all the pages really fast until she gets to the page with the cats and dogs- I think she likes when I meow and bark.  She has a board book called First Words and she flips to the page with the teddy bear.

i love this one!  hopefully someday dd2 will branch out and let me read it to her.  she brings me other books occasionally, but a few pages in she realizes that it's not Moo Baa LaLaLa and she's off in search of her favorite.

This, in our house books are not for reading they are like toys right now.

we get the same thing with the favorite pages. The Animal Babies book has kitties in the back and she sees them and makes the tongue clucking sound she does to call our kitties. And she almost vibrates she's so excited right before we get to the "silly side" page of I Love You Through and Through because I always tickle her.

DD is obsessed with being read to as well! She has a box set of the If You Give a Mouse a Cookie", If You Give a Pig a Party, etc, books ....and those are her favorites right now.

OH! And she loves Goodnight, Gorilla!

My little guy's favorite right now is called "Ping et Polo: Bonne nuit!" It's a bedtime book about a polar bear and a penguin getting ready for bed. Very cute! He had a different bedtime book, but kept trying to get rid of it and always chooses this one instead.

We have a book of sounds.  It lists a sound and shows pictures of things that make those sounds.  I've read it to DS2 several times and he flips through it constantly.  I've even heard him try, not always sucessfully to mimic the sounds.

DD loves Patricia Polacco's, Mommies Say Shhh. It is the only book she brings to us to read. I am pretty sure we read it about 30 times a day.

DD is not so into books right now, other than to pull them off the shelf and then carry them around the house and deposit them in various locations.  She does really like "Wheels on the Bus" pop-up book and by "like" I mean she likes to try to pull off all the pop-up parts.  lol.

This! DD loves, loves, loves books and will flip through some to get to her favorite pages as well. She loves Baby Bear, Baby Bear, Are You a Cow (we had it personalized for her birthday), and The Barnyard Dance right now. So fun to see her interested in books!

DD is also obsessed with books! It's so stinkin cute. Right now she mostly enjoys the 'one-word-per-page' books, as she likes repeating everything I say :P  Other than that, her favorites would be 'I See a Monkey' and, my personal favorite, 'Hugs and Kisses'.

That's right, I have a favorite.

So funny. I could have taken almost the same pic with Ash. Except he does it with his bath book in the tub. And its usually upside down too! He points at the animals and babbles like he is imititating me!

B absolutely loves books!  Anything in the 'Brown Bear' and 'Baby Bear' series is a winner right now, and also books where you can press buttons for sound and lift flaps...he will sit for hours with books if I let him.

Love Sandra Boynton!  I wish that were A's fave.  Her favorite right now is "Noodle Loves the Beach".  It's about a panda bear (she's our little panda) and she loves that book!  It's falling apart.  lol
