Yep- and in that same thread there were several posters who said they wanted a poll... so here is the poll. We can do another one in a month or so for all of the team yellows.

I don't mind the "It's a" threads, I like reading them personally. I'm also new here so I don't spend a lot of time on here and didn't notice it was annoying lol. I'm team Yellow until Saturday though

Same here... and I am sick of the "It's a ___" posts.... like 3098534905 a day. So I thought this was much more fun!

I like the idea of making this a weekly poll for the next few weeks until everyone who wants to find out does. And if people want to be able to specifically state what their baby is they could put it in a comment in the poll thread. That way they feel like they are able to announce what their baby is for all to see without the board being constantly filled with "it's a__" posts. It'd also be  a nice organized place for those who are incharge of the blog to take the new gender announcements from to add them to the blog list.

Agreed!! Seeing all the announcements does get old. I'd hate to take away from everyone's excitement though so I think a once a week poll is a great idea! My answer will not change week to week though, lol!!

I'm surprised that so many people are still team yellow. I've been feeling so much in the minority having to wait until 20 weeks (apt is next Tuesday) with all these announcement posts!

As do I. If you notice, those threads aren't getting very many comments anymore. I say we do this once a week for the next month or so. I also love the Team Yellow addition.

We find out on MONDAY!!!!!! I promise I won't make a "It's a..." post!

It's been discussed but this is the first poll I've seen! It's neat the see a 50/50 split boy/girl (as of now)  and that MOST of us are still Team Yellow. With so many "It's a..." posts I was beginning to feel like I will be one of the lasts to know!  

 There are A LOT of "it's a..." posts but I know most of us are excited to post our own A/S stories. I try to read them all and reply. :-)

Weekly is so much less special, and for those of us who are finding out at ~20 weeks it feels like we have waited FOREVER! I don't want to wait until the weekly post to share.

I like the clicky poll i agree i am team yellow cant wait to find out LO gender 20 wks on tmrre no appts til monday so monday would be a good weekday to do this poll every week until everyone who want to find out baby's gender does!!

You could always start a poll the day you find out that way it keeps the post towards the top for people that don't sort threads by most recent post.

Glad everyone likes the poll idea! I can start posting it every Monday until we dont have any team yellows left.... I am out of town Monday- so someone else can post the poll, or I can post it Tuesday when I am back. WOO HOO!!!
