I swear i just sit here all day. I wish i can find another job, but who would hire a preggo lady thats just going to take 6 weeks off in 5 months anyway? I think i've gotten more stupid just sitting here all day.
What do you do? I sit at a desk all day and take calls about insurance. Definitely not the most exciting job in the world.
I sit at a desk all day too! I work for a construction consulting company and my only job really is to answer the phones ( which rings about 3 time a day) and then i maintain the files, which takes me about a minute LOL.. literally. All i have to do is scan notes and other documents into our server and add it to our binders. Whooo hooo. such fun! I dont mind it to much while my boss is away because then i can read, or go on thebump.com, or play games etc. but when he is here, i always have to look busy when theres literally nothing to do. Its just so annoying. My brain is bored, so then i just get tired and feel unimportant. I'd rather be at home cleaning LOL

Omg, we have the same job. I work for a general contractor and take the pathetic smattering of calls we have per day, and I have a few other small tasks to take care of throughout the month (yes, month...not day). I think I "work" about three hours a week. I used to try to look busy, but I realized after awhile that if I'm on the computer, no one bothers me because I might be doing something for real...so I bump and pin and read blogs all day. Totally would rather be home cleaning, though!!! I spend waaaaay too much time on the internet and slouching in my hard chair. Hang in there, girl!

That is so funny!! at least i know im not alone. It sucks cause when my boss is here, i totally cant be online, because he can see my computer from where he is. then i go crazy! Yeah, i do acutal work about maybe 3 hours per week too. If im lucky! Then i just sit here the rest of the 27 hours for the week!
The fortune I received with my lunch today says "You are soon going to change your present line of work." I would be excited about this...but I carry our family insurance so I wonder how that will affect the pregnancy. Maybe they mean soon as in next March or April!
My job is boring too. I figure property values and do property transfers. Boring! But good pay, great benefits!
Henry Cavill...You're welcome!

I've been off for a month but I go back Monday to one of the most boring jobs. I manage corp calling card accts. how many people do you who even use calling cards anymore.....
I work for a hiring consulting firm, so my job isn't boring, but there are days (like today) when I am caught up and just waiting for the day to end. I swear that I checked the local news about 50 times. I don't know how our receptionist can handle being here 40 hours/week!

Oh my gosh, I think you really DO have the most boring job!

Lol. Yes I know. The perk is I work from home full time. It's also a downfall to since I get no human interaction during the day

I do something very similar to you (at least for the next few weeks), and I agree. When it's busy, it's crazy, but when it's slow... it's insanely ridiculous. And because you normally have things to do, when it's slow, it feels like forever.

Exactly! When I'm interviewing, I hardly have time to think. I love those weeks!

Work from home is fantastic! I give you credit for being able to handle it. I work from home on occasion and generally am not very productive.
