A/S today!

We have our a/s this afternoon - a little nervous, a lot excited!  

Those of you who have had yours, how long did yours take?  An hour?  I have to be somewhere shortly after, and I'm debating if I should call this morning to say I might be a little late.

    I'm having mine today, too!!!

    I've heard that the scan takes around 30 mins. But it depends on if your LO is positioned correctly for all the measurements.

    Good luck today!

    We were in and out in about 40 minutes. So depending on how long you usually wait at your dr's office, you should be fine...

    Mine took about 30 mins, and that was with the baby being stubbon and hiding their head the whole time.

    Thanks, can't wait!  We're planning to stay team green, but I'll admit I keep "checking" with DH to see if he's changed his mind...I'm so tempted... 

    ETA: thanks, ladies - I HATE being late to anything, so my extra half hour will actually be an hour if mine goes like yours did...whew

    It depends on how cooperative your LO is and how quickly they can get the measurements they need. When we got there they told us it usually takes about 45 minutes but our little gal was well behaved and it took about 30 mins. (With DS last time it took almost an hour because he wouldn't let her look at his heart)

    Me three! I am also having my a/s scan today. So excited to find out the sex and see how LO is doing in there. Good luck to all the ladies going in for u/s today!

    Mine took about 20 minutes or so and I met with the doctor afterwards. Our little girl was squirming all over the place making it difficult for the u/s tech to get the measurements he needed which was cracking me up but I know he was a little stressed about it because the doctor had to get to the hospital for a delivery lol.
