No, I didn't see it, but all births look so much more dramatic on TV than they are IRL (at least in my experience). I can only imagine that a Kardashian birth would be over-the-top drama! When I had my first baby, I remember thinking that it was going to be so much more intense than it really was, based on what I'd seen on TV. In fact, I didn't recognize that I was in labor until a couple hours before I gave birth, because I thought I was just having indegestion. LOL!
Yep I saw it. It looked painful - but afterward it was so beautiful and emotional! I think once the baby was born, the mom didn't really care about how it felt before that.
..still, I'm definitely getting an epidural I guess Kourtney decided the same after watching this birth!

Exactly this. While watching I thought it looked so beautiful and personal right as the baby was born, very different than what you would experience in a hospital. Still, I am not comfortable delivering at home and never would choose that option.

Go to the birth story board. There are some water birth/ home birth stories over there that will change your mind. It's incredible. I've seen some that are so serene, hardly any noise, lots of love and hugs... They totally hammed it up and edited it for drama. What do you expect from those attentionwhores?

I couldnt agree with you more! I watched "The Business of Being Born" last night and there is one scene where they are showing a home birth and the mom is in the tub and boom theres baby.... it happened so fast, with no noise that I wasnt expecting it at all- it was amazing!
And yes- of course the Kardashians made it full of drama... I wouldnt expect any less!

That's what they do. It's the only reason they're famous right?
When hubs and I watched BoBB he was really surprised at how "easy those chicks make it look." I laughed at him. I'm sure it wasn't easy, but many of them looked like they were champions.

After going through a med free birth and recently watchign that episode I actually didn't think it looked that bad. She seemed to do very well and I didn't think there was that much drama at all. Breathing and making noise like that really helps to get through the contractions. Some people can get through it quietly but others make more noise. Until you're in the moment you won't really know how you handle it. It really surprised me that I was making the noises I was making! lol! I'm sure anyone who was within earshot would have thought I was under severe torture rather than having a baby!
