Dear left kidney: get back to work!

I had some pretty sharp pain keep me awake last night, I called my OB in the AM and the NP sent me to the ER because I just recently had a UTI and she thought I might have a kidney infection.

I do not, and my baby is totally fine, but my left kidney isn't draining properly, possibly because it is obstructed by a *shudders* kidney stone.

I have tons of lemon and vitamin C to try to clear the potential stone--I'm crossing my fingers this will be resolved before I am scheduled to leave for Yosemite next week! :-/

  • I hope you feel better soon! I've never had a stone but I work in an ER and the way patients describe them makes it sound terrible. Have fun on your trip Smile
