The only thing I've ever bought from TRU/BRU was our glider/ottoman -- on close-out, with a 25% off coupon AND gift cards from our family baby shower.

I can't stand how overpriced they are...  I'll take my chances buying stuff unseen on the interwebz for at least 25% off TRU/BRU price.

Ya I am the same way but I called the store and they said sure they will price match and I arrive and nope they stated their policy...Lame. I had a $5 off coupon which would make the item about the same price as Target but Wal-Mart has the same thing for $24.88 go figure.

The only reason I registered with BRU for my shower is because it was most convenient for our families and friends.  But I only shop there when I have a 20% off coupon.  LOL it makes DH crazy because every time he wants to get something for DD, make him wait until we have a valid coupon.  But seriously, I have found almost every toy they carry for a cheaper price on amazon, with free shipping, saving me both $ and the trip to the store!
