this sounds dirty haha you can say gender reveal here we won't freak the f out on ya! It sounds more normal, I haven't done one we don't know what we're having yet...but I think they're lovely and fun! I you tubed a bunch one day before I was pregs and was crying like a little baby lol
We're actually going to do one this weekend. I'm making a cake shaped like baby blocks, with the blocks reading B or G. The family members will get to pick which one they think it is. The wrong choice has regular yellow cake, (or chocolate), and the right one will bear pink/blue.
We are doing one with DS, my parents, ILs and any siblings who are around.... also a couple of friends. We are doing cupcakes- I cant wait until Thursday!
We aren't doing a party, just a casual dinner with DH, his parents and my Mom, maybe some of DH's brothers. Just a cake that is either pink or blue velvet cake. It should be fun! This is our first but I knew we wanted to know boy or girl as soon as possible so we thought it would be fun to find out via cake with our family rather then in the u/s room.
Henry Cavill...You're welcome!

I agree. I get that there is a gender vs. sex debate, but it's commonly called a gender reveal party. I've never heard it called "sex reveal."
