Mine is 5000 and that seems really high. My Re is not concerned of OHSS because my ovaries are not really enlarge and I have 20 follies 11 on one side and 9 on the other. Some are 12 mm and some are 23mm.
What was you E2 Level at trigger
How many follies?
Did you develop OHSS?
Re: What was your E2 level at Trigger?
Mine was about 3500 both times. I got 24 the first time, 22 the second. I had mild OHSS the first time, but the second time I didn't. good luck!

My e2 was almost 7000 at trigger. I had 38 eggs retrieved (33 mature). I was in a lot of pain and had some definite signs of OHSS but never got *really sick. I toughed it out at home with percocet and felt quite a bit better about 4dpER. I feel like if I'd had a sticky BFP that cycle I would have had a flare-up that could have been bad. You are definitely in the range to be concerned and aware of how much uncomfortableness is too much. Good luck!
Mine was a little under 5000. I was switched to a Lupron trigger to lower the risk of OHSS. I am sure you will be fine but really make sure you push the electrolyte beverages afterwards to be sure!
Good luck. Remember your RE does this all the time. Have trust in them - youre not their first IVF patient! (advise someone gave me post ET when I was fraaking out bc they doubled up my progesterone supplements!)

Mine was about 4000 the first time and 6000+ the day before trigger (never told me the day of trigger E2) the 2nd time. I thought we were going to get more eggs the 2nd time because of it, but we actually got fewer. Listed in my sig.
I had no significant symptoms of OHSS at all the first time. The 2nd time, my RE saw the OHSS fluid "ovary sweat" starting several days before trigger. My belly was a little tender to the touch for about a week, which was as bad as it got. I was very diligent about drinking Gatorade both times, which I don't know if it helped or not. By beta, I was 5 lbs lighter than ER day, which I'm assuming was at least partially fluid weight. It may have been bad if I had triggered with HCG, but I used Lupron.
