Baby Bedding

Hi ladies, I'm having a tough time finding baby bedding I like that doesn't cost a fortune. Who knew how expensive this stuff was! I've checked out Target, Bed Bath and Beyond, Babies R Us, Land of Nod, Pottery Barn, etc. Any ideas of where to look out there that maybe I haven't thought of? I'm looking for modern, non-themey bedding, with yellow and gray so it can be used for a boy or girl.

Try amazon, overstock both on line. Or if you have an ikea near you that's a good place. Kohls is usually on the more inexpensive side, Marshall's or tj max too.  Good luck!

I am making mine, do you sew or know anyone who can? I found a lot of fabrics I liked and not a lot of bedding sets I liked. I know for a fact I saw a lot of yellow and grey prints at Joann fabrics

 I loved bedding from a high in store but the cost was crazy almost 900 for the bedding!! I knew there had to be a cheaper way to find the bedding I love. I found this  website that has a lot of the higher fabrics but the cost is a lot cheaper. You can design your own and even design the curtain too.

Carousel bedding- their website is baby bedding.com. Cute modern sets, plus you can customize if you want...they even have an iPad app.  My favorite hands down and I looked at all the same sites you did.

I am also doing a gray modern nursery! PB Kids has a bunch online. Also Oilo (available online). I can't remember if Serena & Lily has yellow and gray or not, but they have cute stuff as well. I would recommend checking out Pinterest as well - they always have great nursery ideas.

I'm skipping "bedding" completely this time.  Decor will be paint, art work, curtains, and accessories.  "Bedding" will include a few basic crib sheets.  I find baby bedding ridiculously overrated.

As a STM, I am going a different route this time. I bought the whole set last time, and it is such a waste of money.

This time, I ordered 2 aqua crib sheets off of Amazon (about $30 total), and I am making a black and white damask crib skirt (probably using a no-sew tutorial someone recommended). And that is all! Under $50.

For the first few months, the baby will be in our room in a corner nursery (crib, wall art, dresser with changing pad). The sheets and bed skirt are to match my bedroom theme. When he is STTN, we will think about putting him in with our son. At that point, I might re-do the whole room and spend more money on bedding.

overstock has a lot of cute stuff!!! or google it to! you may find another website with good stuff!
