Baby is here

So our LO  is here! Induced on 8/10 ( the day before my birthday) she was 2 weeks early 8 lbs 3 oz and 19-1/4". The epidural was painful! Took about 25 minutes and I have lingering pain from having it (my third epidural the only one that was like this) but fine once meds kicked in. Baby took about 6 hrs from the time they started pitocin and would have come 2 hrs earlier but had her head positioned funny and caused me intense pain even with the epidural ( hitting a nerve).  The nurse came in to have me do practice pushes before the dr came when I was fully dilated but 4 practice pushes and the baby crowned and she told me to stop pushing but the baby kept coming even when I did without the dr.  So the nurse and Dh delivered the baby and the dr showed up a minute later and delivered the placenta, lol.  No tears or anything just a beautiful little girl at 5:50 pm. So postpartum details for all you first timers out there - major swelling in ankles and feet some minor swelling in fingers (supposedly should subside in a week) and baby was slightly jaundiced and am not producing enough colostrum so pediatrician directed supplemental formula feelings after nursing until milk comes in( day 3 no milk yet) also have been pumping after nursing to try to help increase supply.  So congrats to all the fellow new August mommies out there and good luck to all of you still waiting, may the labor fairy reach you swiftly!
