Cranky baby

So, I always jump to...he must be teething when LO gets cranky.  He's such a calm and happy baby that when he gets cranky in the least it's out of character.  Well, now he's been cranky for a while, and having separation anxeity.  I hate seeing him so miserable.  I haven't seen any tooth buds, but I am a FTM...so I'm I've mistaken gus as them before.  Any advice whether it turns out to be teething or not on how to soothe him?

I am going through something similar except it IS teething.....3 at once! She just got her top 2 teeth and those were the worst. It was hard to tell they were coming in until right before so if you do see the signs you might be right. Now she has tooth buds, one on bottom and two top eye teeth!  The one thing I did yesterday was give her ice cubes wrapped in a washrag. She seemed to enjoy it and was less irritable for a while after. 

 

I really have no foolproof advice...FTM here too. GL!
