Milk Let-Down Feeling at 38 weeks and Hi (intro)!

Hi All, I haven't posted on these boards in years, but this waiting game has been really tough the last couple of days. I was wondering if any of you have felt milk let down before going into labor or in the last few weeks? I have had that feeling for that past 2 day every once in a while. I am 2cm dilated, 80% effaced and baby is at zero station as of Friday. Lots of contractions, but not strong. Very close together 2-3 mins at times. Lost mucus plug Saturday and Sunday. I am hoping that was all of it. I can't imagine it's much larger than that. Holy hell it's huge! This is baby #2. We are expecting a boy this time. Keeping my fingers crossed that my water breaks because these contractions are making me crazy. I want them to hurt already!

Is this your 2nd?  I was having the milk let down feeling a few days before giving birth too.  I was like "what?!"  You're talking about those sharp stabby pains?  Either way my milk didn't come in until 4 days post-partum.  Sounds like you're already in labor though!  I hope it progresses soon!

I figure that things are getting close since I have been feeling this for a couple of days, losing my mucus plug and the contractions. I hope you're right. This is #2.  was induced with #1 around this time, so I things happened quickly after they broke my water. This is like days of labor that doesn't hurt. It's progress so I will take it, but it's so hard to tell what is really going on. I am NOT a patient person.

I was the exact same way this time around.  My water broke the first time and I wasn't dilated at all, so they had to induce me.  I was getting an epidural at 1 cm, lol!  THis time around I was a 3 and hadn't felt a thing!  I was like "I'll take it!"

I am hoping to go natural again with this baby. I had a great water birth with my 1st even though I was induced. I had a fairly quick labor after they broke my water the first time, so hoping it goes as well this time! I am really looking forward to nursing again. The let down feeling brings me right back. That milk breath smell... DROOL! LOL. I want to bottle that smell.
