Anyone else sooooo bored?

My husband and I are [still] waiting on final word on our house. If we get the news we are hoping for tomorrow, them we may actually be closing this coming Friday, August 17th. My due date is August 26th but because we have been waiting on this house, we have not really been able to prepare for the baby. We have everything we need in storage at our parents' homes but haven't actually been able to set everything up. We also haven't been able to pack up our current apartment - things have just been on hold.

 Due to the above, my husband and I have been spent the last few weekends doing NOTHING. I think I am going crazy. I realize this is likely just a problem for first time moms, as having a little one running around might keep most of the boredom at bay, but I am just going nuts. All of the instincts to nest and nothing really to be done about it. Plus, we are trying to save money, so going out is basically out of the question.

 I just can't wait for our little one to be here. The weeks are draggggginnnnggg.

If I were you, I'd have to ask my doctor for some anxiety medication because there's no way I'd be patient enough for that shiz. I am in full nest mode. On top of that, I don't think I'd be able to handle the stress of the "waiting" on the house. Good luck, girl. You're a better woman than I am!!!!

I couldn't even imagine waiting to hear about a house (huge deal) and waiting for my LO to come (huge deal) at the same time!!! Sorry you're stuck with nothing to do! I'm in a similar situation in that we have NO money to spend (DH was laid off) so I've been stuck at home with nothing to do the last few weeks. Hang in there!! And here's to hoping you get good news about the house!! :-)

Thanks everyone for the support! We are getting there. Cleaned my apartment this morning to pass some time. I am hoping for some good news about the house tomorrow - which is also my birthday. Btw, I also cannot wait for my lil guy to be here so I can have a drink to properly celebrate my birthday
