4oz. at 4 weeks?

I'm a first time mom and so afraid that I am overfeeding my son.  He always seems hungry!  He sucks down 4 ounces so quickly.  We just upped it from 3.5 because he was eating his hands after his bottle like he wasn't satisfied.  Today he has seemed okay with 4 ounces about every 3 or 3.5 hours.  Is this alot?  Can I overfeed him?  I've always heard that you can't overfeed a bf baby but didn't know if the same was true for formula fed babies.

DS ate 4 ounces at a time from about 2 weeks old.  We thought he was eating a lot but when we actually wrote it down he was eating around 30 ounces a day, which was fine.  As long as they aren't spitting up a ton I don't think you can overfeed them.
