From reading a post below, I gather that these items work well at night, but do they also work well for naps during the day?  We have blackout drapes in DS' room so it's pretty dark, but I wonder if he wouldn't just play during the day or if it would be too bright for them to be very effective.

I know a lot of people on here have the Rainforest Soother, but what about the FP Aquarium one or the Baby Einstein one?  Both have remote controls so I thought that might be handy in the middle of the night.  Also, if you have both the seahorse and the soother do you think you need both or would you just buy one? 

I am about to embark on teaching DS to nap on his own and go back to sleep on his own in the middle of the night (he already goes to sleep initially on his own) so any recs would be appreciated.  It sounds like these products might make the process a little easier.  TIA!

We have the rainforest one.  I am sure they all work the same though, however, I do not think I would use more than one at a time.  Also, we do use it for naps.
