what to talk about with PAPS & BM?

With keeping an open lines of communication with a birthmom, but not getting too personal.  What do you talk about?  Where do you draw the lines of what information you share?

Our BM doesn't talk very much.  Not sure if she is shy or just feels intimidated.  Our conversations when we met revolved around what they did for fun, what kind of food did they like, their kids and family and a little bit on what kind of a relationship we wanted.  She asked us if we preferred a boy or a girl, if we started thinking about names and what we did in our free time.  My DH and the BF talked a bit about why they were making an adoption plan.  I will say it was quite awkward, but we made the best of it.

DD, her job, DH's job, our new place, her new car, what trips we've each been on lately, how much DD is like her BM or her nephews/nieces, etc
