Where do you keep Christmas/b-day presents etc. that you are trying to keep a surprise? Have you ever forgotten where they were? Or forgotten that you'd bought something?
I can't hide anything from him. He is the biggest kid around Christmas time. He shakes wrapped presents and everything. I usually keep his gifts at my sisters house until the last minute.

I thought this was another cheating post...whew! haha, I usually put them *if they are not huge* in a closet up high where he'll never look under a bunch of other stuff...or under the bed in something that was already under there etc...hidden in an everyday object that no one sees...or bothers to look for...
I'm not a snooper, but if I see it or find it, it just tortures me! So, DH hides things for me in the really tall cabinets in the garage. I don't use them because I might accidently give a spider a hand shake. ::shivers::
I have forgotten a few things, but nothing major. I hide things in the closet or linen closet. I have yet to be busted. I also tell DH, "No going in xyz room!" haha.
My H is the complete opposite of in that he loves surprises. He goes out of his way not to know. We have separate closets and I'll just push them behind my clothes in my closet or wrap them and set them up high so, the kids can't get at them. AND I have forgotten where I have put them. That's so frustrating.
I guess the gift before it gets here. My H is to predictable when it comes to gift giving. lol-

H is totally clueless, I literally leave them out in plain sight and he doesn't notice them. t bought DH a new TV a few years back (just a smaller one for the bedroom) and I brought it home and set it (in the box) in the dining room. He never noticed and was totally surprised when it showed up in the bedroom.
I hide his stuff either in my car or the back of my closet. He hides things in his office. I am a horrible snoop. I can't help it. I will go so far as to check his bank account to see where he had charges. He knows this about me and puts up with it. He is a hero.

I seriously can't hide anything from him. Either he just guesses or finds them or just figures it out.
The one time I was successfully able to hide something from him was Valentine's Day a few years back. I got him Tiffany's crystal beer glasses. He loved them and still uses them all the time.
Neither of us like to spoil the surprise of Christmas so we don't really look. But we also don't really buy much for each other for Christmas. I can usually keep his presents in my nightstand or under my side of the bed.
I'm not good at hiding things. I would tell him if I bought them ahead of time. So I always think of what I am going to get and then go shopping on Christmas Eve during the day, wrap it when I get home, and then give it to him that night. I am a sly one.
I'm freaking terrible at keeping gifts a surprise. I usually insist that DH open them as soon as I buy them (so... possibly weeks in advance at times).
This is me. I can't wait.........generally he opens what I get him, when I get it. I've surprised him a couple times, but I literally had to wait until the last min to get the gift.

Sometimes I hide them in luggage if I know we're not going on a trip anytime soon. I've never forgotten his presents, but I have forgotten my sister's.

I just put it in a tote box, and trusted him to stay out of it.
He did.
He's a good little boy.
