I didn't feel DS until 23 weeks and I haven't felt any movement yet with this LO. It's a pretty wide range of when it's "normal" to feel first movements. Just be patient, it'll happen soon!
I still haven't felt anything, at least not that I can say for sure is baby. I believe it can be anywhere from 16-20+ weeks, but I have noticed a lot of women on here have felt movement rather early.
I'm 17w5d and I haven't felt anything that I can identify with baby. But I know that it's normal to not feel movement until 20 weeks or so. But I'm waiting! Every night I lay on my back and see if I can feel LO...no luck yet! Plus I have some extra weight so I'm thinking it may be more difficult for me to feel anything.

I have felt him a few times, but not really consistantly and I am almost 19 weeks. So, I think it just takes some time. As they grow and get stronger its easier to make out the jabs.
When you got your sonogram did the tech mention anything about an anterior placenta? This would not be uncommon or anything to worry about. I had an anterior placenta with my second and it took a lot longer to feel her. Also, these other ladies are definitely right! Most first time moms don't really realize what they are feeling until around 20 weeks. : )
I haven't felt anything in about 1.5 weeks [just little flutters at about 17 weeks], I think my LO has moved to a less desirable position for feeling kicks & punches! I'm not expecting to feel anything really strong for between another week - 3 weeks.

This. I was about 23/24 weeks with DS before I felt anything. DH didn't get to feel him on the outside until closer to 30 weeks.
I'm in the same boat, no movement yet. Apparently sometime between 20 and 23 weeks is normally when women feel movement, so I'm impatient but not worried.

Yep- this. Feeling baby as a FTM is very rare before 18 weeks and it is very normal to not feel baby until closer to 20 weeks.
